James Rudd and Lydia Bell-Tye are co-founders of Jaracs and are both business and personal partners.

James studied accountancy at college but his first job was in catering which was followed by managerial positions with two large supermarkets. In 2007 he returned to accountancy and joined his father’s firm for three years before deciding, with Lydia, to strike out on their own. James has the full AAT qualification and is a licenced member in practice.

After college, Lydia worked for a large firm of solicitors before the arrival of her three children. This meant a lengthy career break before a return to work through a part-time job with a local accountancy firm. Lydia is qualified at AAT level 3 and is currently working to finalise her qualification through completing level 4.

James and Lydia have a clear vision for Jaracs. The firm will offer the highest professional standards but in a friendly and personal way. There will be no jargon or management speak. Terms of engagement will be practical, down to earth and flexible.

James and Lydia’s personal time is virtually all devoted to their family.

Stephanie Rudd is Jaracs’ newest member of the team, having joined her father’s firm in March 2015.

Stephanie started her career with the John Gross car dealership where she managed a team of three customer advisors and achieved a level 2 in the motor industry customer service qualification.

Steph is now looking forward to developing her career in accountancy. She has already completed her level 2 AAT qualification and is now studying towards level 3.

Steph’s loves the theatre and thus has a part time job at the Marina Theatre in Lowestoft. What free time she has left is taken up with the many sporting pursuits which she enjoys such as cycling and gym classes and also modernising her first home she has just purchased with her partner.
